Tara Schaffer

Founder and Aesthetician

A native to Nashville, Tara graduated as a licensed Aesthetician starting her career in 2000. She pursued her interest in dermatology where she worked with reputable dermatologists in the Franklin/Brentwood area. With advanced training and continued education, this allows Tara to provide medical grade services with customized care using the most cutting-edge approach. Her certifications include IPL, laser hair removal, laser vein therapy, non-ablative laser resurfacing, micro needling RF, HydraFacial, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. Her ambition and knowledge of aesthetics allowed her the opportunity to open Schaffer Skin in May 2020.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys her time with family, friends and traveling.

Tara Johnson

Nurse Practitioner

Tara is a board certified family nurse practitioner with 12 years of experience caring for patients. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UT Chattanooga in 2008 and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in 2011. She has experience in a variety of healthcare settings including inpatient hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient palliative care, primary care, and aesthetic medicine. Throughout all of her career, her continual desire has been to care for people and to help them achieve their best level of health. Tara is a native of middle Tennessee and now lives in Franklin with her husband, two sons and daughter. When not working she enjoys being with her family and traveling.

Riley Wink

Aesthetician

Riley is a proud Franklin native who graduated from Aveda Institute in 2020 as a Licensed Medical Aesthetician. Riley has always had a passion for skin care and excels in making women feel confident and educated when it comes to their skin. Some of the services Riley offers are Aqua Gold Infusions (her personal favorite!), chemical peels, lasers and facials.

Karen

Office Coordinator

Karen is a proud to be a Nashville native! Her idea of heaven is sitting on the beach (SPF, of course!) with a good book. Her favorite time of the year is football season where she love's cheering for Brentwood Academy on Friday nights, Auburn on Saturdays and Titans on Sundays after church. What Karen loves most about her job is learning about all things skin care and talking to clients and watching the progress their skin makes.
